Your notebook does not have a CMOS battery.

The main battery also serves as the CMOS battery to maintain the BIOS and system clock settings.

Below is the link to the service manual:

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

Chapter 3 has the list of parts.  You will find no CMOS/RTC battery part number.

Chapters 5 & 6 have the component removal and replacement procedures.

You will find no procedure to remove a CMOS/RTC battery.

Thanks a lot, actually I am getting this message

The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will reset to the default configuration, and the computer will

restart.  Afterwards, please check the BIOS options to see if they change.

CMOS reset (502)

The computer boots up to loading windows then freezes for sometime followed by bluescreen.   I have

Tried replacing SSD and RAMS, and retried formatting giving still blue screen, I have placed new CPU paste.  Any Help

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know what the problem could be--especially since you replaced some parts, and it still didn't work.

I once had a HP 255 G7 that gave that CMOS checksum error, but the internal battery had completely discharged.

After I charged it up, it only happened one more time and then never happened again.

Thanks again for your efforts.

Actually I am suspecting the embedded graphic card is causing the freezing, maybe when it gets hot the laptop freezes.  I have ran all tests and all parts passed and that is what is confusing me.  If any one comes through this issue, please help.
