Hi,

 

Every 4 minutes my laptop fun starts running and emits annoying whistling sounds for 2+ minutes; it sounds like some dentist drilling device and it runs even when e.g only a web browser is opened. It can also run when in sleeping mode (but not when the laptop is hibernated). I did bios updates and run hardware diagnostics which did not help / found nothing. I have ECO settings on OMEN

 

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

I bought mine a few days ago and this noise is very irritating, I'm barely using the notebook because of it, I'm trying to sell it to buy another one.
