I am facing a Video Memory Management Internal Failure. I have updated the Graphics and also reinstalled the OS, but the issue is still the same. Also, sometimes I am facing Screen Freezing and blue screen errors. However, when I Disabled the NVIDIA MX 450 Graphics, the Laptop is working fine but drains more battery.
Is it a graphics-related hardware issue or anything else? If it is a hardware issue, do I need to change the Motherboard?

Is the laptop still under warranty? First, pause windows update. Then boot into Safe Mode, use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove the NVIDIA GPU driver, and finally after restart download and install the latest NVIDIA VGA graphics driver from the HP support page for your laptop model.

Hello. Thanks for your reply.
The Laptop is not under warranty.
I have tried the steps you mentioned, but the issue is still the same. However, when I run the laptop with NVIDIA graphics disabled, the Laptop is running fine, but the screen is flickering sometimes.
Is it worth replacing the motherboard, since the laptop is already more than 5 years old?

For a laptop that is more than 5 years old and out of warranty, I would generally not recommend replacing the motherboard unless the repair is inexpensive. In that case, it would be better to invest in a new gaming laptop with better specifications, as it would be a lot better overall.
Also, to confirm whether the issue is hardware-related, such as the motherboard or GPU, you can visit your nearest HP Authorised Service Center and ask them to identify the cause. If they confirm that the GPU is faulty, it would be better not to repair it, since replacing the motherboard or GPU on an older laptop is usually not cost-effective.
So, choose wisely before spending money on the repair if you thinking about it. This laptop can also be used normally but likely not foor gaming as dgpu is faulty now. Good luck!
