I'm looking to upgrade my video RAM for gaming on my current laptop (if possible). Would I be able to purchase an external graphics card compatible with my intel UHD graphics currently installed, and plug into the USB C port? Thanks.

There are lots of external graphics cards out there and if you have a thunderbolt or USB-C port you are set. Aside from some specialty products I have never seen a laptop with upgradeable video memory.

Hi,

It is not possible to upgrade the video RAM or graphics "card" as they are integrated on the motherboard. (soldered)

You can attach an external GPU through the Thunderbolt port on the PC when gaming at home. (best also to use an external monitor)

Hope it helps,

Thanks for the reply. I live in the UK and the OMEN Accelerator seems to have been discontinued and it's hard to get a hold of here. Do you recommend any other viable alternatives?
