Hp spectre x360 13-aw053na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased this laptop brand new from HP last February.
I came to use it a few days ago after not using it for around 2 weeks and I got the dreaded blue screen with the stop code: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM.

I tried all of the restart options, plus repair options and I’m unable to access safe mode.

I tried using a boot loader via usb but this also doesn’t work.

I then tried the HP pc hardware diagnostics UEFI and I got the error: video memory check failed (6BWCXG-A13AJ9-MFPXGK-Q2WS03) which leads me to believe there is a hardware issue.

I’m really disappointed after spending £1800 on a laptop to last me a year. After many years of using HP equipment it’s left me very disheartened.

Has anyone come across this issue? Im

thinking it’s best to speak to hp tomorrow to check my options.

Yes that will require motherboard replacement. Very rare to happen in a brand new computer but warranty should cover it. Contact HP and make a claim. Sorry for your difficulties.

Thank you for the reply ! I’m glad it’s rare to be honest as I was a little worried this may happen again.

I shall give them a call tomorrow and see what they say.

thanks again.
