Hello.
After MS Windows reintall I need drivers for my videocard. On download page https://support.hp.com/ua-ru/drivers/selfservice/hp-probook-470-g1-notebook-pc/5405414/model/5405417... I can find Intel or AMD drivers.
But how can I know which of it I need? What's my videocard, Intel or AMD?
Thanks.

Hi,
If you go into device manager (right-click on start and click on device manager) under Display adapters you should see the video "card" in your notebook.
If you are connected to the internet you can go into settings and go to Update and Security and click on Verify for updates. Windows should automatically install the correct drivers for the video card and nearly all other drivers.
You could also install HP support assistant which will keep your drivers updated and much more:

Hope it helps,
David

HP Probook 470 G1 is a series of many models/products with many difrerent options/configurations. You are the owner of your machine therefore you know your machine better than others.
It is very safe to install Intel driver FIRST then run Windows updates, it should be able to pick up AMD driver for you depending on your machine has AMD video card or nọt

Your machine has Intel graphics by default (called Integrated graphics) because it comes with CPU (4th generation Intel Core Processors)and one more option for AMD
- Intel HD Graphics 4600 (4th Generation Intel Quad-Core i7 and Dual-Core i5 and i3)
- Intel HD Graphics (Celeron and Pentium configurations)
- AMD Radeon™ HD** 8750M, with 1 or 2 GB dedicated DDR3 video memory

Hi,
There are a couple of places you can look. You can open Task Manager (right-click on start and click on Task Manager) where under heading "Perfoemance" you can see the GPU in the notebook.
Task Manager
You can go in to Device Manager (right-click on start and click on Device manager) where you can see under Display adapters.
Device Manager
You can also install an application such as Speccy which will give detailed info of the system.

Hope it helps,

But, as far as I know, Windows shows you information based on driver installed, but not real hardware quipted. You can install third-party driver for any device and Windows will show you info from driver.
Again, my question is how to undertand which videocard inside laptop? On HP driver website I can find Intel drivers and AMD drivers for my laptop's videocard. Which is proper for me? PLEASE, do not answer that Windows installs automatically!!!

If there is a device without a driver installed it will still show in the Device Manager as missing driver.
Speccy will show all the devices of the PC.
You can insert serial number of the PC in HP part surfer and see what motherboard you have and graphics on motherboard.
http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx
I believe this is enough ways to show what graphics you have. What do all of the above show you???
All the best and good luck,
David
