Notebook HP - 15-ac119nl (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! It's been a couple of days that out of the blue my keyboard keys of volume, brightness, stamp ad so on, won't work. They were primary keys and then to use f1, f2, and so on, I had to click Fn. So I thought there was a switch with the preferences, but they don't work even if I click the Fn button. Already tried with updating the driver, nothing so far. I tried also to restore them, but I wasn't able to click on that button. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to update the HP system event utility to a newer version than what's on your notebook's support page.

This package contains the HP System Event Utility, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, HP System Event Utility enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This software works with the supported operating systems.

Dear Paul,

thank you for your reply.

I just tried but nothing happens. Really don't know what to do.

Best,

Adele
