I WAS HACKED THROUGH XBOX WITH SOME ONE ELSES NAME AND PHONE NUMBER   GAVE INFO TO XBOX....NOTHING

GAVE INFO TO HP   NOTHING.....GAVE INFO TO MICFROSOFT NOTHING.....

What HP Can Help With:

Your HP warranty covers hardware-related issues. While it does not include protection against viruses or hacking, we can certainly help guide you through steps to reinstall (re-image) Windows and restore your system to its original factory condition.

This process will:

  • Remove all malware or unauthorized access
  • Reset your system to a clean, working state
  • Allow you to reinstall the recording or audio software to capture music as you intended


What You Can Try Right Now:

If your PC is turning on, follow these steps to re-image the PC yourself:

  1. Back up any personal files if possible (to a USB or external drive).
  2. Turn off the PC completely.
  3. Turn it back on and immediately press F11 repeatedly until the HP Recovery screen appears.
  4. Choose:
    Troubleshoot
    Recovery Manager / Reset this PC
    → Select "Remove everything" and follow the prompts.

This will completely reinstall Windows and remove any malware or third-party access.

⚠️ Please ensure that you're connected to power during the process. The reinstallation may take 30–90 minutes.


Important Next Steps After Reinstallation:

  • Install a strong antivirus such as Norton, McAfee, or Malwarebytes.
  • Create a new Microsoft account not linked to the compromised one.
  • Avoid using your previous passwords or emails that were hacked.
  • Enable Windows Defender and Firewall protections.
