Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi to all,

 

I installed an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD | SN350 by WD Green on a HP laptop model14s-fq0000np
but it was not detected by the laptop even after updating drivers and BIOS.

Are there any compatibility issues with this hardware?
Where can I find a list of storage modules compatible with the laptop model14s-fq0000np ?

Hi:

 

I can't find any specifications for your notebook.

 

If your notebook is one of those that comes with the 64 GB eMMC drive and an AMD 3020e processor, the M.2 slot only supports SATA M.2 SSD's, not NVMe.

 

Suggested M.2 SATA SSDs would be the Western Digital Blue SA510 or the Western Digitial Green SATA M.2.

 

The 500 GB model actually costs less than the 250 GB model.
