Pavilion Laptop 15-cs3 GOLD
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I bought this laptop today and it seems to have great features, but the printing on the gold keys is so light as soon as the room dimmed a bit I could no longer read the keys. Of course I assumed with this setup there has to be a backlight, and the quick start guide says f4 is the keyboard backlight key. No key works, even when holding down the function key also. If this does not have a backlight, besides being crazy, it is unworkable and I will have to return it. Please help.

Hi,

If the F5 key has the backlight symbol on it, it means it has backlight. If the F5 key has no symbol on it, it means it has no backlight.

Hope it helps,
