Product: HP Pavilion 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-ec2000 IDS Base Model

I Have a HP external DVD player.   Model GP70N   It works fine with my desktop windows 10. But is it compatible with my new computer with windows 11?  on the back it says manufactured March of 2021.   Do I need to look for another dvd player.

All I can say is try it and see.

 

You will need to install DVD playing software because just like W10, there is no DVD playing software included with W11.

 

I use the free VLC media player software which you can get from the Microsoft store.
