Hi guys,
If you saw my previous post here you will see the story so far. I will sum it up here.
Was having random blue screens, updated some drivers, keyboard and mouse no longer recognised, locked out of windows.
Tried to do a clean install on Windows 10 in every which way you can but would get an error message half way through every time ( 0x800725d)
Ran DST HDD test which failed. Myself and everyone agreed hard drive was causing the issue and needed to be replaced.
Went and bought a SSD and replaced the old HDD, recognized fine by the PC, went to install Windows 10 and got the same error!
Ok ran the Windows memory diagnostic test the showed "hardware problems detected" immediately. It got to around 70% and restarted the PC without showing me any results.
It is a HP pavilion all in one PC, I ran HP's memory diagnostic test which also showed as FAILED, memory module 1 DIMM 0.
So before I go and buy a replacement RAM stick can anyone please confirm this will solve my issue? The PC is only two years old and its seems really odd that all the hardware seems to be dead..
many thanks

You misunderstand our role here. We are not HP Tech Support and since, unlike them, we have no way of accessing your PC from there, we clearly have no way of confirming any problems. If the diagnostics indicate hardware memory issues, then you are stuck having to replace the memory to see if that fixes the problem. But be advised, that system board faults can produce the same errors, and there is no way to really tell the difference.
So if you want absolute confirmation that new memory will fix the problem, we can not provide that.
