My laptop is hp 15g-dr0006tx and I want to upgrade to an ssd and my doubt is that whether my laptop's motherboard supports NVMe  m.2 ssd drive or SATA m.2 ssd drive?

Hi:

I cannot find a service manual for your notebook.  The one on the support page is for a different model series.

Below is the link to the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook.

According to the report, the M.2 slot your notebook has would support both NVMe and SATA SSD's.

NVMe would provide faster read/write speeds than SATA.
