Want to Know RAM Frequency Supported in HP 15 BS 164 TU

I'm unable to find information about maximum RAM frequency supported by my device. It has 2 RAM slots existing RAM is of 2400 MHz frequency the problem is RAM of same frequency is not available. Higher frequency rams are available in the market and I don't know whether it will support a RAM of frequency higher than 2400 MHz or not.

The fastest speed your notebook's i5-8250U processor can run the memory at is 2400 MHz.

However, if you can't find a DDR4-2400 memory chip, or a DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip costs less, installing a compatible DDR4-2666 or even a DDR4-3200 memory chip will work just fine.

The faster memory automatically bridges to 2400 MHz to match the speed of the processor.

This would be a compatible DDR4-2666 8 GB memory chip for your notebook.

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports SATA M.2 SSD's only, not NVMe.

You would need a M.2 SATA SSD like this one.
