On some HP business laptops, the BIOS provides an option to swap the Fn and Ctrl keys. However, this feature is not available on every HP model.

 

Please try the following steps:

  • Restart your laptop and repeatedly press F10 to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
  • Navigate to the System Configuration or Advanced tab, depending on your model.
  • Look for an option such as Swap Fn and Ctrl keys or Fn/Ctrl Key Swap.
  • If available, enable the option, save the changes, and exit the BIOS.

If the option is unavailable, the feature may not be supported by your laptop's BIOS.

To confirm the available options for your device, could you please share your exact HP laptop model or product number? We can then help determine whether your system supports swapping the Fn and Ctrl keys.
