Want to Upgrade RAM?

Hi I own a HP Pavilion G4 -1117TU, With following product iD: QB403PA#ACJ m with 4 GB RAM and 500 GB HD

Have 2 Queries:

1. Where i can get authorized batteries? as the battery has degraded with a backup of less than 30 min?

2. Can I Update the RAM to 8 GB?

HP will no longer have the batteries, but the above is new genuine HP sold by a reseller.
