Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As per my research this laptop supports dual channel DDR4 1866Mhz.

But has a single 4GB module when bought.

I want to make use of the dual channel and also add another 4GB for my needs.
But i cannot find any memory on the market with the same specs. will 2133Mhz work and make use of the dual channel support?

Hi,

You need to use DDR4 2400Mhz RAM which will run at 1866Mhz.

Your PC supports max 16GB of DDR4 RAM (2x8GB)

On page 2 and 48 of service manual you can see various configurations and steps to upgrade RAM

You can also look at these HP videos for your model (click on memory module in list on left)
