HP Laptop PC 15s-du3000

I have a HP 15s-du3047TX. Currently I am using the HDMI port for my external monitor which is connected to iGPU but I want my dedicated graphic card for that. I checked the specs on my model to find out that my usb-c port does not support DisplayPort. Is there any way for me to connect the external display to dedicated GPU(Nvidia MX350 in my case) instead of iGPU? Please help.

Hi,

It is not possible.

The HDMI port is connected to the internal graphics and the screen of the notebook is connected to dedicated graphics.

Hope it helps,

David

The laptop's display seems to be connected to the iGPU too. Are you sure it's not possible to use usb-a ports for connecting to the dGPU? If not then there's nothing I can do other than keep using the same HDMI port.nvc.PNG
