Is that means i will get same performance if i i add another 4gig 2400 bus ram instead of 8gig 2400 bus ram?or will i get lower performance if i add 8 gig module instead of 4 gig module?

I can't be much more specific. 12 gigs is better for memory intensive stuff if you are editing video for example. Most computer users get by OK with 8 gigs and the extra expense to have 12 would likely not be justified unless you are doing content creation type stuff. For most people 8 gigs runs just as well as 12 and with dual channel stuff like boot time and how fast programs open will actually be a bit better with 8 than 12.
