15 series

I wanted to purchase a 2 year extended warranty + Accidental Protection Plan for my new HP 15 series laptop. When I contacted HP customer care at the 1800 number, they told me that they do not provide that service and gave me number of one Mr. Dev who was very informative. He then sent me an email with a quotation from ARM INFORSERVE PVT. LTD who is a third party dealer. I wanted to know whether this company is genuine and authorised to offer such a product. Also whether the service they offer is good and efficient since the quote is for Rs. 11,500 (for 3 years).

Should I go in for this additional warranty considering my children will be using the laptop for their online schooling?

Pls advice

Your laptop should be eligible for a Carepack extended warranty through HP. Check that out here:

Thank you for your prompt response. Accessed the website but the hyperlinks from there do not connect.

Are you aware if the service centre I mentioned in my query is authorised by HP for Mumbai - India??

Don't accept anything but an HP Carepack. 3rd party warranties are dubious.
