Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have 4gb ram configuration in my laptop and want to add 8gb DDR3 ram. So total I wamt to increase upto 12gb ram. So would like to know if my laptop supports 12gb ram in combination of 4gb+8gb??

Please help.

Hi,

The notebook will support max 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM (2x8GB) even if service manual mentions 8GB.

There are two slots and at the moment you have one 4GB module, so yes, you can add another 8GB module in the empty slot for a total of 12GB

You should also consider replacing the 2.5" Hard Drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD which would give a great boost in the everyday performance of the PC.
