Product: Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (8H3V1AV)

I want to upgrade my HP Victus laptop current SSD which is SAMSUNG MZVL4512HBLU-00BH to a Samsung 990 PRO 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD. This will be compatible or shoud I look for other options?

If you want to replace the existing drive with a 2 TB drive, the one you chose would be the one I would choose.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the SSD removal and replacement procedure:
