Can I use intel optane instead of SSD so what will be the difference in processing speed, is it compatible with my laptop and what capacity I need for the model and please clarify the difference between the SSD and optane and suggest me the suitable one for me

Yes your laptop can run an Optane module. Here is the Service Manual:

Start on p. 37 to remove the rear cover and inside you see this:

You can put either an Optane module or an M.2 SSD into the slot circled in red. Your laptop can take an NVME M.2 or a SATA M.2 and you definitely want NVME. An Optane module is just a small capacity (16 or 32 gb) NVME M.2 that works in conjunction with the hard drive to speed it up. Using Intel Rapid Storage software, the Optane bonds with the hard drive and takes over some of its work so it greatly speeds up operation. I have done some experimenting and benchmarking. A hard drive has read speeds under 200 mbps. A SATA SSD either M.2 or 2.5 inch gets data read speeds about 550 mbps, an Optane accelerated hard drive will have read speeds around 1000 mbps and an NVME M.2 gets read speeds over 3000 mbps. Its actually a bit more complex than this as Optane does not handle sustained data transfer very well just short bursts which does speed up boot time and program opening etc. If you use say a 500 gig NVME M.2 all the operating system will be on it and it will be the boot drive. If you use Optane the system stores some boot files on the Optane module and some on the hard drive. As the price of M.2 SSDs has fallen you do not hear as much about Optane. Please post back and let me know which one you want to try or if you want to know more and more info will be provided. If this is what you needed please accept as solution.
