Pavilion Power - 15-cb035wm

I have attempted to update my warranty status by providing a copy of my receipt, but my request keeps getting closed without changing my warranty term or explaining why the change is being denied.  I need assistance in completing this change.  Thank you.

You have to contact HP directly. We (including you) can't change warranty status of your machine.

In the US:

or HP technical support: 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region please click the link below to get the support number for your region.

Thank you for the suggestion Banhein.  I have tried the number you listed and the website url.  I keep getting sent around in circles.  I've see other issues like mine posted to the forums here and the common resolution is a Mod alerting the internal team to the issue and handling it via private message from there on.  I was hoping this post would initiate that process for me.  Thank you again for your reply.  I did try what you suggested, to no avail I am afraid.  This really does seem to be problematic process.  Hopefully a resolution will be forthcoming shortly.

Hi, @RowdyE

Did you try the online warranty dispute process?

I have also asked a moderator to intervene on your behalf.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
