HP 250 G6 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought laptop  24 June 2018. Product status shows 'Your HP warranty expires on 29 January 2019.' I am expecting a 1 year warranty. Why do I not see this?

Hi:

For whatever reason...HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the factory.

So, the longer it sits in a retailer's warehouse, the less time remains on the warranty.

You have to contact HP to get the warranty start and end dates adjusted.

You can try this online link to dispute the warranty, but I believe since your 250 G6 is a business-class notebook, the link will not work.

If I am correct in my belief, you will have to contact HP by telephone and speak to a customer services rep to get the warranty dates corrected.

I have this list of phone numbers to call in the UK...You want the Computing Products for Business number.
