Hi, I have had a HP laptop for 3 years now with the warranty recently expiring a few days ago. Since that day, my charger has not been able to work properly (This has never happened before) and I have only recently found out that my warranty has expired causing me to question if the charger stops working after the warranty period? Or is the adapter just broken.

Hi @gms_23,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand your concern. Could you describe exactly what’s happening with the charger? Is it not charging at all, intermittently working, or showing any signs of physical damage? This will help determine whether it's an issue with the adapter or something else.
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Hello! Yes, the charger is in perfect condition. It has no faulty areas and it has not touched any liquid at all. It is perfectly fine on the outside. I was just curious to see if it has stopped working due to the warranty being finished or if it was purely just a coincidence.
thankyou!

Hi @gms_23,
Thank you for the response.
Thank you for reaching out! I completely understand your concern, but rest assured, the expiration of your warranty does not cause the charger to stop working. It’s purely a coincidence.
Since there’s no visible damage, the issue could be due to normal wear and tear over time. You might want to try:
Testing the charger with another compatible device (if available).
Plugging it into a different power outlet to rule out electrical issues.
Checking if the laptop’s charging port is clean and free of debris.
If the issue persists, replacing the adapter might be the best solution. Let me know if you need any help
I hope this helps.
