HP Pavilion x360 14-ba075TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have bought a refurbished laptop (HP Pavilion x360 14-ba075TX) and after using for 2 and half months, the battery showed 10% of battery wear. I have just used for about 2 and half months and the notebook is still in warranty (but only few days are left). My question is that - "Does HP provides warranty on damaged battery from manufacturer certified refurbished HP laptop or not that is still in warranty" . I want a quick replacement of the battery.

Warranty type - 3 (offsite warranty)

And what's really frustating is that it occured just after calibrating the battery (and HP's technical team told me to do so) 5% battery wear just after calibrating and then again more 5% battery wear after calibrating , in total 10% (and again this was told by HP's representative to calibrate the second time and they even told me to do 3rd time calibrationg of the battery). I know that calibration only resets the battery gauge but if it was the case with my notebook's battery, then the total 10% battery wear would have occured after the first calibration only.

Hope you could understand that and provide me the answer that - Does HP provides warranty on damaged battery from manufacturer certified refurbished HP laptop or not that is still in warranty.

Yeah the battery is in the 90-day warranty but it covers a "defective" battery. I seriously doubt you will get them to replace a battery that has 90% charge capacity left. You "lost" capacity with the calibrations only because the condition of the battery is now more accurately displayed. You have a refurbished laptop. It's used. The battery was never represented as brand new and you are trying to get a brand new battery out of the deal. If you bought a "demo" car at the dealer, you would expect the tires to have some wear on them.

Just my opinion. As stated, we are not able to make warranty decisions and you should pursue your options with HP.
