Warranty on laptop power supply?

My laptop is about three years old (out of warranty) and the power supply has died THREE times. Each time I buy an OEM replacement and it seems like there should be a warranty replacement for these, but I can't find relevant info on the HP site.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have HP replace these under warranty?732811-001 710415-001

My experience has been that the original warranty of the PC is the governing factor -- so if you buy a part after that has expired, it is not covered under the original warranty.  As to whether or not it has its own warranty, we can't provide official word on that.

You would have to check directly with HP Customer Support about warranties on HP parts.

To contact HP Support see the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Goto this page https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number
Case number and phone number appear.

It was not easy to contact someone at HP, but the answer per the chat below is that HP provides NO warranty on an OEM HP power supply that was not purchased from them an 4X the cost of other sellers.

Yes, since you don't bought the part with us ,you don't have an HP warranty
