Hi everyone. Quick question as can't seem to find the correct answer for myself. If I was to remove my laptop base panel to upgrade my current RAM (4gb) to 16gb's, will my warranty be void in doing so?

Many thanks!

Yes Almost all companies will void warranty if you open the laptop. You cannot change the ram without opening it at the back. Check if any warranty void stickers are there. If not go ahead unscrew the back side and change the Ram module. If Void sticker is there take the laptop to the authorized service center and ask them to upgrade it for you

I don't have any stickers at all on the bottom of my laptop. 4gb of RAM is quite low though so I would very much prefer to upgrade it. Just wasn't sure whether or not it would void the warranty.
