My webcam some how got uninstalled doesn't exist in device manager. I tried to search for this particular driver (HP TrueVision HD) but couldn't find it. Please, could you send me direct link to this particular driver.
Also it seems along with the above error am having problem with the USB controller, the message in device manager is as follow "Unknow USB Device Configuration Descriptor Request Failed". Am unsure if these two errors (webcam & USB) are related but both occured when once I tried to disable and then enable my webcam.
I run the HP Support Assistant hoping will detect the hardware problem but didn't tried to update drivers from device manager, but that didn't work either. Please can you help me to fix the above errors.
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I guess you right am going have to accept the fact that it is most likely to be hardware issue.
Probably, either the power cable or connector of webcam got slightly loose.
So, am going to close this forum and mark it as accepted solution.
Thanks again for your help.

Greetings @Faz2017,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are facing an issue with the webcam and USB ports on your computer, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Have you installed all the Windows updates on your computer?
Do you have any external devices connected to your computer?
Recommend you make sure all the Windows updates are installed on your computer.
Once all the Windows updates are installed, download the Youcam software from this link and install it on your computer.
USB controller drivers are provided by Microsoft along with the OS.
However, webcam also behaves like a USB device internally on a computer.
I believe once you have the webcam working the error message related to the USB will be resolved.
Keep me posted. Good Luck.

HI Chimney_83 ,
Thanks for your support.
Actually neither OS update worked nor factory reset.
As I said earlier it seems that HP webcam driver is uninstalled and even factory reset would not resolve the issue.
At the end I had to get external webcam as I needed to have some skype conference.
But at any rate I run some basic troubleshooting procedures and am including tsome picturest in this post please have look at them and share with me your findings. But personally, I just need the HP webcam driver for this particalur machine model.

Thanks for the reply and trying the suggested steps. Youcam software includes the driver for the webcam. The issue you are facing seems to be a hardware issue.
If you have reinstalled the OS using the recovery manager on your computer, try to install the driver from recovery manager and check. Click here.
Keep me posted. Good Luck.
