HP Envy 13-aq0044nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have an Envy 13-aq0044nr in which I have imaged. I have successfully installed all the necessary drivers, but I cannot get the webcam kill switch on the right side of the notebook to work. I cannot seem to find a driver on the driver download page. Does anybody know where to go to get this driver? Thanks.

Hello, the above steps did not solve the problem. The Intel Human Interface Device (HID) Event Filter driver is already present on the machine, and if I try to run the installer downloaded from the HP driver website, nothing happens. I also tried uninstalling the HID event filter driver and reinstalling it but that did not resolve.

I noticed the driver on the website says it's for WIndows 10 1809, but I am running the most up to date version of Win 10 Pro 1903. Is there not a compatible driver at this time?

Did you try updating the BIOS?
