Product: Elite Book Folio 1040 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The webcam on the laptop stopped working. I’ve done the usual (windows updates, driver checks/updates). 

in device manager, the properties state:

******

This device cannot start (code 10)

 

{operation failed}
This requested operation was unsuccessful 

 

******

The driver icon had a little exclamation mark against it too.

Should add that I’ve checked the privacy settings. And the laptop doesn’t have any physical/F-key switches.
