This is a new laptop, just 3 months old. Recently I am having issues with webpages opening correctly. Instead of the page opening the way it should, there is text along the left side of the screen. The only new software added was a Passport Backup drive.

Do you have the same issue with other browsers? If other browsers work fine, please reset your Google Chrome browser
If the issue persists on all browsers, try a System Restore to an earlier time before the issue started
- Select the Start button, type control panel and then choose it from the list of results.
- Search Control Panel for Recovery.
- Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
- Choose the restore point prior to the start of the issue and then select Next > Finish.
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a Great day 😊

Hi Raj-
I have tried troubleshooting, using several things I found online. I also brought the computer back to place of purchase, Office Depot. They ran diagnostics and found nothing wrong. They stated it may be an internet issue. Before I call my provider, I want to be sure I exhaust all other options, because I know they will say all is well.
I only use Chrome as a browser. I have all my bookmarks there, as I am heavily into genealogy. I dislike IE and Edge, so don't use them often. This is how the pages are opening...everything is pushed over to the left. I am having trouble resizing pictures to attach.
