Product: HP Notebook - 15-f272wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does anyone know what motherboard (details appreciated and needed) that the HP Notebook - 15-f272wm has, and if there's an itemized list of compatible CPUs with this HP Notebook laptop. I'm looking to upgrade it's CPU, but need to know what all chipsets are compatible with it's hardware.

Hi:

 

The processors in that model series are an integral part of the motherboard.

 

The only way to upgrade the processor would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in the service manual that comes with a better processor.

 

It would probably be very expensive to do if you could even find the parts you need.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.  Chapter 3 has the list of supported motherboards.

 

I would also check to see if a different fan/heatsink is required.
