Hi,
I just bought my new HP Omen 15-EN0012-AX and it has a 512gb SSD. I would like to upgrade SSD, I wanted to install a second SSD but I think that it only has the one M.2 NVMe slot, could someone please tell me if there is just the one M.2 NVMe SSD slot or if I could have 2? also what brands and type of M.2 NVMe SSDs are compatible with my Omen? I would really appreciate it if someone can help me out...

Machine has 2 M.2 NVMe SSD slots therefore you can add 1TB or 2TB to its second slot. You can also add 512GB to the second slot and configure machine to use RAID.
The beet option is to buy same brand and series of the existing drive. You can use
- https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/
- https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd
Or similar from reputable vendors.

Your laptop has 2 SSD NVME slots... And it's already comes with heatsink/thermal pad and screw... So u just need to buy SSD M.2 PCIe NVME 2280 form factor and installed it without needed additional heatsink and screw...
I use ADATA SX8200 Pro 1TB 3500 read / 3000 write without problem... It has the same speed as Samsung SSD that had been installed on this laptop...
You can trust the SSD M.2 NVME from big brands like Samsung, WD, Corsair, Crucial, Adata, etc... Choose whatever fits within your budget... And pay attention to their write/read speed, and their size base on your needs.... And PCIe Gen 4 is a lot more expensive than Gen 3 for now because Gen 4 technology is still new... But, I think Gen 3 is enough for doing anything with this laptop...
