I have an old HP with 598856-001 HP 2GB PC3-10600 DDR3-1333MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL9 204-Pin SoDimm Memory Module and wondered if I can add it to my old but newer HP that requires.691740-001 HP 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL11 204-Pin SoDimm 1.35V Low Voltage Memory Module..

Hi,
You will not be able to use that old memory in new system as your PC uses DD3L memory which is 1.35V and the older memory is DDR3 memory which works at 1.5V. The speed and latency can be different.
