HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 15-dk1002ur
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 15-dk1002ur. In the settings, I found that the hp 8742 motherboard is installed.

What is the maximum RAM I can install? With what frequencies/volume/generations?

Hi:

Your notebook can support up to 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-2933 MHz memory.

Most folks will install DDR4-3200 memory that will automatically bridge to 2933 MHz.

HP only has the service manual for the older 15-dk0xxx model series available.
