Envy x360 15m-bp1xx

I would like to add or replace the 1T HDD that came with this model.  Wondering if I need to replace it or can I add a second drive - a SSD.  Thanks.

What is your Envy x360 15m-bp1xx  ? For example

             HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp111dx

Probably your machine has very close specs. You've got 2 options

(a) Replace existing HDD with 2.5" SATA SSD using

       https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-mx500-ssd
       https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/860evo/
   Or similar from reputable vendors.
           One example

               https://www.crucial.com/ssd/mx500/ct1000mx500ssd1/ct11942948

(b) Add M.2 NVMe SSD using

        https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/
        https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd
   Or similar from reputable vendors.

          One example

Regards.

I found the original box it came in.  It a 15m-bp112dx.  Interesting that's not what comes up when I go into the "About" screen on the laptop itself.  I also ran the HP Assistant and it came up with the same thing - 15m-bp1xx.  But on the box it's the bp112dx which now makes more sense.  Thanks
