Hello there!
Can anyone tell me, what is the stock ssd equipped in my HP Omen 15 EN1156NG. I am not sure if the last Owner replaced the stock SSD with a cheaper one.
I just upgraded my NB with a bigger M.2 SSD and realized, that the vent on the left if you have the SSD Slots behind, is full of dust but the Vent on the right side looks like brand new. So it seems it doesnt operate at all. Does anyone have similar issues discovered?
Best Regards
Sagaris

Is the SSD that is shown in the image the one you removed from the laptop?
That one is a reputable solid brand from mainstream memory and SSD maker Micron.

The original SSD was a Samsung PM98A1 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD
You can clean the vents and rep;lace the SSD with a PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD of up to 4TB.

Hey, yeah it is! That was the SSD what i‘ve found in the Laptop as i opened it.
I havent opened it until now and discovered a broken Screwbraket as well, so i became mistrustful.
I guess the SSD i got there is worse than the stock one!?
So the Guy who sold me the Laptop fooled me.
I already cleaned the vent with an interdental brush which works pretty well! 😅👌
I am glad that i didnt bought the warranty extension. Because, if HP check this NB they will surely deny any warranty.
