My mom wants a new hard drive for her laptop because hers keeps giving her error messages. She wants an SSD if possible for a faster startup and no concern on hard drive clicking in the future. Is there an SSD that will fit her laptop? She’s looking for 500GB to 1TB

Hi:

 

You can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

 

The best one for the price IMHO, is the WD Blue model.  Here is the link to the 1 TB model.
