Product: OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wd000 (7B9S0AV)

Hi! I have an HP Omen 16-wd0013dx with a USB-C port on it. The spec sheet says it is capable of USB PD and Displayport 1.4 Alt Mode. I want to know what specific port I have and whether I can get PD to the laptop or a display output from my discrete graphics card.

It has 1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port.  That is from its specs, you can NOT get anything clearer.

 

  • USB PD: you can use compatible USB-C chargers yo charge your machine
  • Alt mode: you can connect to an external ISB-C monitor OR USB-C DP monitor and get DP 1.4 results.
