Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 IDS Base Model
Microsoft Windows 11

I am looking for a compatible SSD to go into the free SSD slot on my Victus laptop. I tried a WD Black 1TB SN850 Gen4 but it didn't work at all and it was sent back. So, I would like to know what other Ryzen 5600H Victus users are using successfully. Hopefully, I won't have to go through any more trial and error.

Crucial memory has SSD products that are guaranteed to be compatible with your Victus notebook. This is the simplest way to save yourself the grief of trial and error.

Can I rely on their ram selection as well?

HP Recommended

Yes.

They guarantee  that their RAM will be compatible and provide warranty for it as well. The memory will work as expected the very first time you use it.

I suggest not mixing brands.

Remove the original memory

Purchase and install memory in pairs of identical capacity for the best result.
