Product: HP EliteDesk 705 G1 Desktop Mini
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have problems to find M.2 2280 compatible SSDs with HP EliteDesk 705 G1 Desktop Mini. Can some help me to find them. At eBay, I have found the following two prospects of SSDs:

 

1. WD Blue 3D NAND 250GB PC SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s, M.2 2280 - WDS250G1B0B

2. SanDisk SSD X300s M.2 2280 256GB Solid State Drive SD7SN3Q-256G-1006

 

Are these SSD memories compatible with HP EliteDesk 705 G1 Desktop Mini?

Hi,

You are going to want an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD. I would go with this one from Crucial which guarantees its upgrades.

On apge143 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive

You will need to install the OS on the SSD for performance gain.
