HP 8570w
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

On the used market, the 8570w seems to command a somewhat higher price. I've never seen a comprehensive comparison between that model and the 8570p. Judging from the ayout of the I/O ports, the motherboard must be different. But why are there two seemingly-similar models in the EliteBook series, and why should one prefer one over the other, even if they were the same price?

Hi:

The main difference is the dedicated and removable graphics cards in 8570w, as well as the increased memory capacity of 32 GB vice 16 GB in the 8570p

The 8570w is a mobile workstation, and the 8570p is a high end notebook PC.
