Hi All
Very simply; I have had my HP Spectre Pro x360 G1in its origional configeration 128GB SSD and 4GB Ram.
I want to upgrade as I keep running out of space, so:
A) How much ram will this Notebook support and what type?
B) A friend has recommended a Samsung 960 PRO V-NAND M.2 SSD - 512GB is this compatible?

Hi Mike,
The memory is soldered down on the motherboard, so it is not upgradable.
You can replace the M2 SSD with higher capacity SSD. The service manual briefly mentions PCIe SSD, however all the computers in that series came with M2 SATA SSD. Furthermore, the Samsung 960evo has given users many problems even on newer HP computers. I would get a larger M2 SATAIII SSD for the upgrade.
On page 28 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade the SSD.

Ok Take your point on the Samsung Does this mean the max size for my notebook is 256 - GB? or is this table mis-leading?
