Hi,

I have received an Elite Thunderbolt 3 dock without a charger. What charger do I need to buy please and will any generic chargers work?

You mean AC Adapter (not charger). HP has few Thunderbolt™ 3 docks. Please use the following document to see which one is yours and check its specs to find a right AC Adapter.
