There is no other video chip that can be installed. That is soldered to the board. You have an i7-720QM cpu at 1.6 ghz and the only other processor that can be installed is an i7-820QM at 1.73 ghz. Here's the Service manual:
.13 ghz and no upgrade to video is not a compelling cost/benefit equation for the prospects of the upgrade.
The processor goes for anywhere from 20 to 75 bucks on eBay. For 20 bucks it might be a fun project. You will get a decent return on investment if you install a solid state drive. Does nothing for gaming or graphics performance but makes it boot up faster and things happen much, much quicker.

Hi
I found the product manuals of your PC online
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01860375
Page 1-1
Processors Intel® CoreT™
i7 mobile processor:
i7-820-QM, 1.73 GHz, SC turbo up to 3.06 GHz
i7-720-QM, 1.6 GHz, SC turbo up to 2.8 GHz
these are the only 2 processors listed as supported with the motherboard on the unit.

The laptop is too old to have a port that is readily useable for an eGPU. You don't even have USB 3.0!!. You could, however, theoretically remove the bottom cover and use the wireless slot (mini-pcie) for an eGPU:

I find this arrangement to be a Frankensteined hot mess but we have had a few people report success with it. My best advice is to curb your enthusiasm and refrain.
In addition to this piece you would need a video card (desktop kind) and a desktop psu and an external monitor.

Just if you are wondering, what I am going to do is get an ssd, & use my mini pcie slot for my egpu. Upgrade my ram to 8gb, & get a desktop gpu that is decent for around maybe like $75. & I will also upgrade my cpu, because it would give me 2 extra cores.
Thanks again for all your help!

Gotta check your police work there. No, you already have a Quad Core. All you would get from the new CPU is .13 ghz.
Also, no guaranty on the eGPU. I can't say it has ever worked on your specific model. Your wireless port has a BIOS lock on it and I am concerned the eGPU may be detected as a non-authorized wireless card. But, hey knock yourself out.
