Pavilion 15t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am looking for a USB docking station for my new HP Pavilion 15t laptop. There are currently 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (Data Transfer Only); 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) ports that I could use. Given this are "data-transfer only" ports is there any docking station that would work?

Thank you,

Tim

USB-C port may cause few compatible problems but definitely you can use USB-A ports.  If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (plus notebook screen, total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products:

or try following HP docks

There are few USB 3.0 (aka USB-A) docks on the following link

Thanks Banhien

To confirm even though the specs state that the USB-A ports are "Data-transfer only" the dock will allow for video connections to work?

I ran into this issue where my USB-C dock did not work for connecting monitors given its Data-transfer only" and am trying to avoid this issue again.

Thank you
