I am wondering what docking stations will work with my laptop.   In particular will the

HP USB-C Travel Hub G2 work with this laptop?  I need to have a vga port and would like at least two USB-A ports.  An HDMI port would be useful in case I later upgraded my monitor.

Thanks

The specs of your machine is

           https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06619159

It has  1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port therefore you won't get HDMI out on the HP USB-C Travel Hub G2.

Please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products using USB-A port:

If I am understanding you right then you are telling me that I need a docking station that will connect through one of the USB-A ports?  Since the USB-C port on my laptop will not send display data to the second monitor?
