HP Pavilion - 14-ce3035no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Pavilion - 14-ce3035no and am looking for a docking station. HP Support says that business/enterprise laptop HP Docking Stations are not compatible with the Pavilion series. I have read another post here (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/What-docking-stations-will-wor...) which relates to a Pavilion laptop. There is a great solution by expert Huffer, but the referred dock is for the Plugable USB-C Triple Display Docking Station. Unfortunatley the I live in Sweden and cannot find the Plugable products here.

So my question is if the Dell D3100 USB 3.0 Docking station will be compatible with my laptop? It has a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (5 Gbit/s) port. Here is alink to the Dell in the US where the D3100 dock is described: https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/dell-docking-station-usb-30-d3100/apd/452-bbpg/pc-accessories

I want to be sure I make the right  choice before hoing ahead with the purchase som any help here would be very appreciated.

Thanks.

The specs of your machine is

   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06456675

It does NOT have docking port and the USB-C port is hopeless, looks like it is a normal USB port with different shape, therefore USB 3.0 docks is the way to go.

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors, please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products

or try following HP docks

You can select few and looking for them in your country. I don't have a Dell D3100 to test but look at its specs, I'd like to have one. I've got few proper Dell E series docking stations for my Latitude E seies machines.
